Recipe to easily Convert Turmeric Turmeric is not normally easily digested because it is not soluble in water. But it is soluble in oil! First turn your turmeric into a dry powder by grinding it in a food processor. Take half a kg and soak it in a litre of oil like olive oil, flaxseed oil or coconut oil. Leave it for a week and take say a tablespoon a day....but build up to this...start with half teaspoon a day and check your tolerance.
NB You can turn your raw turmeric into powder by boiling it in its raw state for 40 minutes, then cut into slices, put in the oven for say 2 hours at 200oF. Then grind into a food processor or Google 'How to Make Turmeric Powder'. There are other recipes to blend with oils on the internet.
